You’re invited to an industry consultation at the Charles Sturt University eXtended Reality Centre (CSU XRC)
A cross Faculty project led by theSchool of Communication and Creative Industries
The Charles Sturt University eXtended Reality Centre (CSU XRC) is a large-scale development
proposal that will enable internal and external research capacity in Virtual, Augmented, Mixed
and eXtended Reality (VR/AR/MR/XR).
Let’s talk about
- Research in the arts, sciences, agriculture, health, dentistry, education & Indigenous studies
- What ideas you have for innovative projects in your organisations
- How we can partner to make these things happen!
Professor Michael Friend, PVC Research and Innovation, invites industry to this consultation
and showcase of CSU’s current and proposed research potential to meaningfully engage with
contemporary and future-focused research in this rapidly emerging field.
The Industry Consultation will be facilitated by Professor Eleanor Gates-Stuart (XRC Project
Lead) and the XRC working party and will include updates on XRC research developments
and opportunities for collaboration.
Lunch and afternoon tea are provided.

Clear your calendar for one of CSU Mitchell Rugby's most celebrated events of the year.
CSU Mitchell Old Boys Day is held annually on the first weekend of May each year. This year the Mitchell men and women face off against the Narromine Gorillas at the Zoo!
The organisers would love to see as many Old Boys there as possible!
Following the game there will be a function and jersey auction.
This event is an open invitation to all past Mitchell men and women to come back and celebrate the rich history of the club and reminisce on the days when you wore the Mustard.
